{"id":3340,"date":"2021-12-02T15:11:47","date_gmt":"2021-12-02T15:11:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/periodismo360.com\/?p=3340"},"modified":"2024-08-14T08:59:13","modified_gmt":"2024-08-14T12:59:13","slug":"descubren-el-posible-detonante-de-los-trombos-tras-la-vacuna-de-astrazeneca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/periodismo360.com\/?p=3340","title":{"rendered":"Descubren el posible detonante de los trombos tras la vacuna de AstraZeneca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EFE.- Un equipo de cient\u00edficos del Reino Unido y Estados Unidos cree haber descubierto el detonante para el desarrollo de unos inusuales trombos en algunos pacientes tras recibir la vacuna contra el coronavirus de <b>Oxford-AstraZeneca.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>El equipo, que publica sus resultados en la revista estadounidense\u00a0<b>\u201cScience Advances\u201d<\/b>, detect\u00f3 c\u00f3mo\u00a0<b>una prote\u00edna de la sangre se ve atra\u00edda hacia un componente clave de la vacuna, lo que a su vez instiga una reacci\u00f3n del sistema inmune que, en combinaci\u00f3n con otros factores a\u00fan por determinar, puede desembocar en la llamada trombocitopenia inmune (TPI).<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La vacuna \u201cVaxzevria\u201d, desarrollada por la universidad inglesa de Oxford con la farmac\u00e9utica AstraZeneca, tiene en su composici\u00f3n un adenovirus (en concreto, un virus de resfriado com\u00fan de chimpanc\u00e9s), a diferencia de otros preparados que utilizan tecnolog\u00eda de \u201cARN mensajero\u201d, como los de\u00a0<b>Pfizer-BioNTech y Moderna.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Anteriores estudios constataron que las personas que contraen los trombos tras recibir la vacuna de AstraZeneca generan unos inusuales anticuerpos que atacan la prote\u00edna de factor 4 plaquetario de la sangre.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la investigaci\u00f3n difundida hoy, el adenovirus, que act\u00faa como mensajero en la vacuna de Oxford-AstraZeneca, podr\u00eda estar vinculado al desarrollo de los trombos, pues todo apunta a que su superficie externa atrae la citada prote\u00edna.<\/p>\n<p>En algunos casos, el sistema inmune confunde el factor 4 plaquetario con el virus y genera anticuerpos para atacarlo. Al juntarse los anticuerpos con la prote\u00edna, se desarrollar\u00edan los trombos, indica la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque las vacunas se inyectan en el m\u00fasculo, a veces pueden filtrarse al flujo sangu\u00edneo, donde podr\u00eda iniciarse el proceso, se se\u00f1ala.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa TPI solo ocurre en casos extremadamente raros porque debe producirse una cadena de complejos eventos para detonar este efecto secundario s\u00faper raro\u201d, afirma uno de los autores, Alan Parker, de la Universidad de Cardiff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNuestros datos confirman que el factor 4 plaquetario puede unirse a los adenovirus, un paso importante para desencadenar el mecanismo subyacente en la TPI.
